Wearing endless Azure-Green landscape upon your wrist, Holding Infinite Universes in Heart

Wang Ximeng and His Azure-Green Miracle

In 1113, the 18-year-old painting prodigy Wang Ximeng, by order of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, created an nearly 12-meter-long Azure-green scroll, crafting an immortal legend in the history of Chinese painting. Shortly after completing this masterpiece that consumed his heart and soul, this talented youth passed away quietly at just 20, leaving the world with endless regret. "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" is hailed as the "Greatest Chinese Painting" not only because it represents the pinnacle of the Azure-green landscape technique, but also due to its grand composition, precise perspective, and exquisitely controlled brilliant mineral colors, perfectly blending natural scenery with humanistic sentiment. It stands as an insurmountable peak in the history of Chinese landscape painting, embodying the ultimate aesthetic pursuit of the Song Dynasty. It not only achieved that legendary Azure-green brilliance that remains vibrant across a millennium, but also an epic of a country that a young man has poured his lifeblood into.

A Dialogue Between Minerals and Scroll

We have meticulously selected four types of natural stones to accurately recreate the color transitions in "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains"from the distant mountains (Lapis Lazuli) to the nearby peaks (Malachite), and from the riverbanks (Turquoise) to the earthen slopes (Egg-Yellow Stone). Among these, Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise, and Malachite were the very core mineral pigments used by Wang Ximeng, replicating the ancient painting's color rhythm with contemporary mineral aesthetics. Each stone is a fragment of the landscape, strung together to form a miniature embodiment of the "Azure and Green" rivers and mountains.

Azure-Green Spectrum · Stone Analysis

Lapis Lazuli The Azure Backdrop of Distant Peaks

The deep imperial blue recreates the hazy indigo of the layered distant mountains in the painting, reminiscent of Azure-green peaks shrouded in mist, as if touching the settled mineral hues on the Song Dynasty silk. In the civilizations along the ancient Silk Road, lapis lazuli was the royal "Stone of the Heavens," inlaid into crowns by Persian dynasties, symbolizing divine right. Its Wu Xing element is Water, governing wisdom and perspective.

Egg-Yellow Stone The Warm Luster of Mountain Mists

Warm tones of creamy yellow and pale orange interweave, recreating the soft light bathing the mountain ridges at dawn and dusk, infusing the wrist with the warmth of the earth. Mined primarily in Yunnan veins, it is regarded in traditional jade culture as the "Soul of the Mountain Stone," bearing the essence of the landscape. Its Wu Xing element is Earth, capable of stabilizing one's aura and nourishing the heart meridian.

Turquoise The Lively Warmth of Riverbanks

Its translucent quality, shimmering with greenish-blue aquatic hues, echoes the ripples of sandbars and the clarity of forests and springs in the painting, flowing with vitality between movement and stillness. As one of the oldest jades, turquoise is celebrated in Chinese civilization as the "Stone of the Heavenly River," symbolizing the eternal dialogue between mountains and rivers. Its Wu Xing element is Wood, containing the power of growth.

Malachite The Rich Verdure of Layered Forests

Its intense, saturated deep green tone replicates the lush, towering emerald of the main peaks in the painting, much like the layered malachite green applied by Wang Ximeng's brush, fully expressing the majestic grandeur of the landscape. Named for its resemblance to peacock feathers, malachite is a natural "Stone of Transformation," signifying renewal. Its Wu Xing element is Wood.

Design Philosophy

A Landscape Story Woven into Details

Utilizing a 4mm natural faceted gemstone design, the bracelet accurately restores the spatial rhythm of "high, deep, and level distance" from the handscroll through a Azure-green gradient layout. Each stone retains its natural texture and facets, presenting a delicate, silk-like sheen under shifting light, replicating the heavy texture of traditional Azure-green landscape painting.

A 3mm sterling silver charm on the bracelet carries our brand story in finely engraved details:
